School service

GAIA Museum is currently developing a school service programme for schools and colleges. We are designing teaching resources for teachers and students to use in Danish and Art subjects.

The purpose of the developed resources is to give children and youths an opportunity to experience and learn about a different museum with art made by people who are coming from a different reality than the norm.

The resources will be ready in the beginning of 2010.

European Association for Outsider Art

In August 2009 the first juridical association for outsider art in Europe was established in Belgium.

The purpose of the association is to bridge and support different European organisations working within the field of outsider art. This includes performing art schools and workshops as well as cultural and commercial organisations such as museums, galleries and media.
